The Wildlife Center is dedicated to Sandra Emanuelson (1938-1982), a local veterinarian who was one of the primary founders of the organization and wife of Board President Jerry Emanuelson.  Her efforts and contributions were essential to the initial success of the Center and as well as the long term vision.

The Center is located across from the Suisun Boat Launching Ramp at the end of Kellogg Street.  Trails are available onto the Peytonia ecological Reserve and resident non-releasable wildlife can be visited at the facility. Tours are not available except during the annual open house each December.

This view of the Center Complex displays the beginning of the organization's new marsh restoration in the top-left background.  It has since grown into a fully restored marshland. Luckily for us, the land regenerates quickly.  We should know since there have been two fires that have both come within yards of the buildings.  Each time, hard working firemen and cleared brush have saved the facility.  Here's a big tip: always keep your property cleared of potential fire hazards for at least 30 feet.

The next project is already under way to restore another 5 acres.
