San Francisco Bay Flyway Festival

The San Francisco Bay Flyway Festival will be taking place for the 18th time on February 7, 8, and 9, and the Suisun Wildlife Center will be participating again! Named for the great Pacific Flyway we live beneath here in California, the Festival celebrates this giant highway in the sky used by millions of birds during migration.

The Flyway Festival includes three days of nature tours, presentations, and hikes; with the main location on Mare Island featuring over 75 exhibitors of art, optics, books, jewelry and much more!

There will be a presentation at the Wildlife Center Friday Feb. 7, from 2:00-3:00 pm.  Please call the Center at (707) 425-4979 to register, space is limited.

On Saturday Feb. 8, there will be a Suisun Wildlife Center presentation at the main location, Building 223 on Mare Island, Vallejo. Both the Center tour and this presentation will feature non-releasable native California birds and animals.  Join us at one of these terrific events for a closer look at the Suisun Wildlife Center- and the Flyway Festival!
